Unphotographable
This is a picture I did not take
of two web photographers in the best possible late-autumn late-afternoon light reflecting orange and soft off a building across the street, and they crouched on the sidewalk like knee-high slalom gates for beautifully illuminated passerby, both of them unaware and crouching in that great light as if that great light didn't exist, their four thousand dollar cameras pressed-up against their faces, lenses zooming toward their subject in the shade, strobes flashing off their brackets in an attempt to illuminate the face of some guy's dog.
